| EAST AURORA NJROTC PLACE IN NATIONAL COMPETITION |
NJROTC Cadets Place at the Navy Nationals in Pensacola, Florida April 12, 2004
Aurora – The Top 24 NJROTC teams in the nation competed at the Navy Nationals in Pensacola, Florida March 31st
through April 4th. Fifty of our students traveled to Florida along with staff and chaperones.
Our cadets finished 13th in the nation and took 7th place in academics and 7th place in uniform inspection.
Our of 1000 cadets that participated in the following, the top three individual finishers were:
Cadet Rudy Rodriguez finished 6th in Male Pushups
Cadet James Dooley finished 16th in Sit-ups
Cadet Rudy Rodriguez finished 18th out of 240 cadets that took the Academic Test
