BPA State Qualifiers 2007 January 22, 2006
Aurora—East High's BPA members were led by double winner, John Johnson, who took first in both Fundamental Accounting and Banking and Finance at Saturday's Regional Competition against West Aurora, Naperville Central and North, and Waubonsee and Nequa Valley High Schools. Thanks to Mr. Short's Accounting class for preparing East High's first regional double winner!
Other qualifiers included:Nancy Mercado, 4th Fundamental Accounting, Nancy Nevarez 4th Basic Office Systems and Procedures, Rosio Patino 3rd Keyboarding, Cristina Rios 3rd Basic Office Systems and Procedures, Jessica Sanchez 5th Payroll Accounting, Leatrice Shorty 2nd Integrated Office Applications and 3rd Database Applications, Peony Villarreal 3rd in Advanced Interview Skills, and Rubin Villarreal, 2nd in Presentation Management Individual.
