Every year, hundreds of East students participate in IHSA athletics in various sports throughout the academic year. Athletic competition is an avenue from which to build team work, discipline and team spirit. Also, these athletes represent East High throughout Illinios and the Upstate Eight Conference.

Every year, our athletes prove themselves to be among the best. They leave East High after successful athletic and academic experiences and continue to make an impact on athletics at the college and even the professional level.

This year, we are proud to induct six special individuals to our very own Hall of Fame. These inductees represent the spirit that lives within East High and continues after they graduate. We are very proud of their accomplishments and contributions they put forth as student athletes duing their time as high school students, as well as their accompishments they put forth afterwards.

Because they have contributed greatly we are proud to have them comprise the 2005 Hall of Fame class. May their biographies serve as an inspiration and motivation to current student athletes who one day may be honored in a similar fashion.
