Dr. Edward Fauth is the Founder/Principal of Fauth & Associates
Consulting, Engineering, and Management. Not only did he graduate from
East Aurora High School, he went on to become the President of the East
Aurora Board of Education from 1960-1966. After his graduation, Dr.
Fauth earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Michigan State, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from
Illinois Technological Institute, and a Doctorate of Education from
Nova University in Fort Lauderdale Florida; he also served in the
United States Army.
Dr. Fauth has dedicated nearly 70 years to the betterment of the
greater Aurora community. Professionally, he has served as the
Executive Director of the United Way of the Aurora Area, Dean at
Waubonsee Community College, Director of the Champion Federal Savings
and Loan Association in Aurora, and Vice-President of Engineering and
Marketing of Barber-Greene Company in Aurora, just to name a few.
In addition to serving as President of the School Board, Dr. Fauth has
committed his time and talents to countless community initiatives
including:
President of the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity, President of the
Rotary Club of Aurora, State Coordinator for MathCounts, Founding
Member of the Quad County Urban League, and a member of the Board of
Directors for the Kane Kendall Mental Heath, Kane County Community
Action, Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce, the Aurora Economic
Development Commission, and the Aurora YMCA.
Dr. Fauth resides with his wife, Frances, on Aurora's east side. They
have four children; two are educators and two are doctors.
